Event and Activities Descriptions

Neighborhood Meetings & Coffees-
The association meets at least quarterly, some meetings are during the day
at our neighborhood coffee, some are in the evening (when requested or
specific concern is being addressed). Meeting times and locations are printed
in the newsletter and are distributed in our email
updates. Our annual meeting is held at the Ice Cream Social when our
officers are elected.
We welcome and encourage all neighbors to attend
the meetings to offer input as well as enjoy socializing. Children are
always welcome!

In addition to our annual Ice Cream social, we try host at least one
all-neighborhood event at Old Farm Park. Here are some events from year's
past:

Book Club - disbanded Feb, 2002

The Garden Club meetings and locations vary, check your newsletter
or this web site for information, or contact Nancy for
more information. In the past the garden club had done the following:
 | The Garden Club planted flowers in Old
Farm park. |
 | Sponsored garden tours of homes in the neighborhood. |

Adults Only - Game Night & Progressive Dinners-
The neighborhood has for several years hosted events for kids. This year we
will be having some activities just for adults. We had a very successful Game
Night with many wanting to have an ongoing Euchre group. Contact Lela, 698-2532 for more
info.

Each spring OFENA has an egg hunt for the neighborhood
children the Saturday before Easter in Old Farm Park.

Each year we have a parade for our little goblins. The parade starts at the
office building near 44th and Applewood and continues to Old Farm Park.
Halloween Safety Tips:
 | When handing out candy make sure your garage door is closed |

however we usually have awards for Brightest, Most Festive and Best Front
Door. Winner are chosen by residents using the voting form found in the Winter
Gazette.

Each spring we host our neighborhood garage sales. In the past we
have collected money and rented large signs, due to the lack of funds from
participants we have decided to not rent the large signs and will not be
collecting additional monies. Your membership fee will be used to place ads in
the Advance. People wishing to have sales are encouraged to put up balloons
and make signs advertising their sale. If you are shopping the sales, you may
